WRAP-UP

Dear Live Steamer,

Where to start ? We spent almost two weeks at the hotel , part of the time grousing , but more of the time smiling. Those wonderful Canadians arrived early and were chomping at the bit to get the tracks put up.

Here are some numbers for those of you who enjoy this sort of arcania :

We had 158 steamers show up.

We used:
60 gallons of water
4 gallons of alcohol
whopping 85 containers of butane ( next year you’ll have to purchase your butane - it costs too much to just include it when the large locomotives use about one can per fill ) The coal guys had their own supplies and I don’t have a count as to how amny pounds they used , but it was enough to set off the smoke alarms a couple of times - I love it !

We came from 30 states and 6 countries to play with our trains over a period of 9 days . The following tabulation does not include walk-ins , but it does give one the feel of it all :

Where did we all come from?
